County officials said someone stole the laptop around August 28 from the in Buffalo.
Investigators believe the computer may contain personal information from clients who met with a social worker at that location and at 1500 Broadway.
The county is now notifying those who may be affected.

If was anyone else's information but some "people who require the assistance of a social worker", this would have been big news. If the same personal information of some corporate CEO's was missing, it would be deemed a big news.
