Report Credit:
New Hampshire Attorney General

Response:
From the official New Hampshire breach notification and letter to affected individuals:

"Our investigation indicated that the personal computer contained the personal information of 13 ITWFEG employees"

"on the very next day, you will likely recall talking to Don Stairs or another ITW employee who let you know about the theft, that your information could be accessed by the thief or others"
[Comfyllama] Each affected individual was called by the company in addition to receiving the letter.  This is a nice personal touch most likely made feasible due to the limited numbers.

Commentary:
A small breach, but a breach nonetheless.  Another lost or stolen laptop containing confidential information without encryption.  There was no mention in the letters whether storing confidential information unencrypted on laptops is against company policy or what the company intends to do for future prevention.

Past Breaches:
None
